The corrosion resistance of the copper-plated steel is close to that of pure copper, and the copper surface will produce oxide with strong adhesion (copper green Cu (OH) 2), which has a good protection effect on the internal materials.

Strong current conduction capacity. At 20 ℃, the resistivity of copper is 17.24 × 10-6 (Ω mm), and the resistivity of steel is 138 × 10-6（Ω mm）。 Assuming that the conductivity of copper is taken as the reference value 1 (i.e. 100%), the conductivity of angle steel and galvanized round steel is only 8.6%, the conductivity of copper plated steel is more than 20%, and the conductivity of copper plated steel strand is 30%.
Under the action of high-frequency current such as lightning current, copper-plated steel will produce a skin effect, and its conductivity is close to that of pure copper, far higher than that of steel grounding body.
In addition, the relative permeability of copper to vacuum is 1, and that of steel is 636 times. When passing lightning current or fault current, the impedance of copper conductor is far less than that of steel grounding body, so the probability of a side strike caused by the increase of ground potential caused by impedance will be greatly reduced.

The material shows that 99.99% of the electrolytic copper molecules with a thick copper layer have an average thickness of more than 0.25mm, so they have strong corrosion resistance and a service life of more than 50 years.
Better conductivity
Because the surface layer of copper is composed of 99.99% electrolytic copper molecules, it has excellent conductivity, and its self resistance is far lower than that of conventional materials.
